Key Responsibilities

• Participate in postgraduate teaching and supervision in the Department of Library Science
• Conduct research and contribute to scholarly publications
• Fulfill academic leadership and administrative responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in the area of specialization
• Minimum of six (6) years of teaching/library experience at the University level
• Minimum of two (2) points from supervised postgraduate students
• Current membership in professional body/bodies
• Two (2) favorable external assessments

Required Research and Publication Credentials

• Minimum of sixty (60) points in admissible research publications
• Minimum of twelve (12) publications
• Minimum of four (4) papers indexed in Scopus journals
• Visibility on Google Scholar or equivalent with minimum twenty (20) citations

Additional Requirements

• Minimum four (4) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibilities
• Minimum three (3) points in Community Service
• Minimum forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
