Position Overview

A dynamic team is expanding and seeking a talented Reader in Adult Education to join Federal University Oye-Ekiti.

Key Requirements

• PhD or equivalent qualification in the area of specialization
• Minimum of six (6) years of teaching/library experience at the university level
• Minimum of two (2) points from postgraduate student supervision
• Considerable research background with minimum publications totaling not less than sixty (60) points
• Four (4) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibilities
• Three (3) points in Community Service
• Current membership in professional body/bodies
• Minimum forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
• Minimum of twelve (12) publications
• At least four (4) papers indexed in Scopus journals
• Visible presence on Google Scholar or equivalent with minimum citation count of twenty (20)
• Two (2) favorable external assessments

Additional Responsibilities

• Participate in postgraduate teaching and supervision in the Department of Library Science
