## Title: Quantity Surveyor
About the Role
Our client, a reputable construction and infrastructure company, is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all cost-related aspects of building and civil engineering projects, from initial estimates to final accounts — ensuring value for money while meeting quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documentation
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost planning, and budget control throughout project life cycles
- Evaluate and certify contractor payments and variations
- Prepare and analyze project costings for tenders, including materials, labor, and time
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure financial efficiency
- Manage contract administration and ensure compliance with procurement procedures
- Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives
- Prepare accurate progress reports and final accounts upon project completion
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3–5 years' relevant experience in quantity surveying within the construction or infrastructure industry
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, CostX, or similar cost estimation tools
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification (NIQS, RICS, or equivalent)
