Responsibilities

• Manage project costs from start to finish
• Prepare estimates and analyze project plans
• Manage contracts and handle tender processes
• Value completed work and control budgets
• Mitigate commercial risks and ensure value for money
• Ensure compliance with legal and quality standards
• Act as the financial link between stakeholders on projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Technology, or related field from a recognized institution
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction or civil engineering projects
• Proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management of construction projects
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, project valuation, and tendering processes
• Familiarity with building and construction materials, methods, and legal regulations
• Proficiency with MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., CostX, WinQS)
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost control reports, and valuations
• Strong communication, negotiation, and documentation skills
• Registered member or in the process of registration with NIQS or any recognized QS professional body
