Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control (QC) Officer to ensure that all products meet approved quality, safety, and regulatory standards before, during, and after production. This position offers a great opportunity for career growth.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect raw materials, production processes, and finished products
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and GMP standards
• Conduct routine quality checks on production and packaging processes
• Identify defects and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain accurate quality control records and reports
• Enforce adherence to NAFDAC, SON, and internal quality standards
• Collaborate with Production, Storage, and Management teams
• Support internal and external quality audits

Requirements

• HND/BSc in Food Science & Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related field
• 1–3 years of QC experience in an FMCG or food manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and quality control procedures
• Good observation, reporting, and documentation skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with peanut processing (an added advantage)
