Quality Control Officer

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this role. Job Summary - We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control (QC) Officer to ensure that allproducts meet approved quality, safety, and regulatory standards before, during, and after production. . Responsibilties - Monitor and inspect raw materials, production processes, and finished products - Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and GMP standards - Conduct routine quality checks on production and packaging processes - Identify defects and recommend corrective actions - Maintain accurate quality control records and reports - Enforce adherence to NAFDAC, SON, and internal quality standards - Collaborate with Production, Storage, and Management teams - Support internal and external quality audits. Required Qualifications: / Experience - HND/BSc in Food Science & Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related field - 1–3 years of QC experience in an FMCG or food manufacturing environment - Strong knowledge of food safety standards and quality control procedures - Good observation, reporting, and documentation skills - Ability to work with minimal supervision - Familiarity with peanut processing is an added advantage. Skills: - A strong communication skill. - Ability to interpret data. - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. - Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills. - High level of integrity.
