## Title: Quality Control Engineer Level 2

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Engineer (Level 2) with strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of mechanical and piping systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring work processes, performing inspections, and ensuring all deliverables meet company and client quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quality checks and inspections on mechanical and piping works
  • Ensure that materials and workmanship comply with approved standards and specifications
  • Review and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, and test records
  • Support project teams in achieving compliance with quality management systems
  • Assist in developing inspection and test plans (ITPs) for mechanical installations
  • Report non-conformances and follow up on corrective and preventive actions
  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and clients to resolve quality-related issues

Health, Safety & Environmental (OHSE) Responsibilities

  • Ensure all inspections are carried out in line with safety procedures
  • Promote compliance with HSE standards and company policies
  • Report unsafe practices or conditions to supervisors immediately

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks

Knowledge & Technical Requirements

  • Knowledge of QA/QC processes and ISO 9001 standards
  • Familiarity with inspection and testing procedures for mechanical systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • 2 – 4 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance roles
  • Experience in mechanical, piping, or fabrication environments preferred
