Quality Assurance Team Lead (Preform) at Seven Up Bottling Company

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Quality Assurance Team Lead – Preforms to join our Manufacturing Team in Lagos. This role is critical in ensuring the consistent quality of preforms used in our beverage production processes.

The Quality Assurance Team Lead – Preforms will oversee all quality assurance activities related to preform production. The role ensures adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal specifications, while driving continuous improvement within the preform manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control & Assurance

• Lead and supervise QA activities within the preform production line
• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and sampling of preforms to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards
• Ensure adherence to GMP, GHK, HACCP, ISO standards, and other regulatory requirements
• Review and approve technical specifications for raw materials and finished preforms

Process Monitoring & Improvement

• Monitor process parameters, equipment performance, and product quality to ensure consistency
• Identify quality gaps, root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce waste

Team Leadership & Coordination

• Supervise QA inspectors and coordinate daily testing operations
• Provide coaching, performance feedback, and ensure team members follow SOPs and safety guidelines
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to resolve quality-related issues

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including quality reports, deviation logs, test records, and compliance trackers
• Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly QA performance reports
• Ensure proper documentation for audits and regulatory inspections

Audit & Compliance

• Lead internal quality audits in the preform manufacturing area
• Support regulatory inspections and external audits
• Ensure continuous compliance with all applicable regulations and standards
