## Title: QC Shift Incharge

About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to oversee and ensure consistent quality control operations during assigned shifts. In this role, you will implement quality standards, supervise QC personnel, conduct inspections and tests, and ensure that finished and in-process products meet company and regulatory quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Operations & Supervision

  • Supervise and coordinate all QC activities during the shift
  • Ensure compliance with established quality standards, specifications, and procedures
  • Monitor production lines to identify and resolve quality issues in real time
  • Conduct in-process inspections and final product audits to ensure conformity to standards

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date QC records, test reports, and inspection data
  • Report deviations, non-conformances, and corrective actions promptly to the QC Manager
  • Prepare daily QC shift reports summarizing inspection results, rejections, and corrective measures taken

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Assign tasks and monitor performance of QC inspectors and analysts on shift
  • Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members on quality procedures
  • Collaborate closely with production, maintenance, and warehouse teams to address quality issues quickly

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), and company policies
  • Support audits (internal, external, and customer) by providing necessary records and evidence
  • Recommend improvements to quality systems, testing procedures, and inspection methods

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: B.Sc / HND in Chemistry, Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience: Minimum of 6–10 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment
