Key Responsibilities: , SCOPE OF EXPERIENCE: - Develop, implement, and maintain Project Quality Plans (PQP) for MEP works. - Prepare and review Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or fire protection systems. - Ensure all quality documentation (method statements, material submittals, shop drawings) are approved prior to site execution. - Maintain QA/QC records including inspection reports, test results, checklists, NCRs, and as-built documentation. - Conduct regular site inspections for MEP installations - Verify installations compliance with approved drawings, specifications, manufacturer recommendations, and relevant codes (ASHRAE, NFPA IEC, BS, local authority regulations, etc.). - Witness and verify testing activities such as pressure testing, insulation resistance testing, continuity testing, flushing, balancing, and commissioning readiness. - Support preparation of MEP handover documents, including manuals, warranties, and as-built drawings. - Ensure all pre-commissioning and commissioning activities are executed as per approved procedures. - Identify, raise, and manage Non-conformance Reports (NCRs) for MEP works as well as monitoring that they are closed out with re-inspection. - Participate in internal and external quality audits. Required Qualifications: & Experience - Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. - Minimum 2-5 years of QA/QC experience in MEP construction projects (commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure). - Strong knowledge of MEP codes, standards, and local authority requirements. - Proven experience with inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems. Work Environment - primarily site-based with exposure to active construction environments. - May require extended working hours during testing, commissioning, or project handover phases.
