Public Sector Loan Officer

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this role. - Develop and manage public sector loan opportunities by engaging eligible government/parastatal entities, structuring facilities, and ensuring compliant disbursement and repayment. Key Responsibilities: - Identify public sector lending opportunities and build institutional relationships. - Support end-to-end credit process: documentation, approvals, disbursement, monitoring. - Conduct due diligence on counterparties, payment sources, and contract validity. - Maintain comprehensive credit files and ensure compliance with internal controls. - Collaborate with legal, risk, and operations teams for documentation perfection. Requirements: - BSc in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Law, or related field. - 2—5 years experience in public sector lending/credit - Strong documentation, stakeholder managernent, and analytical skills.
