## Title: Public Relations Officer
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and influential Public Relations Officer to promote the company's image, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and ensure effective communication between the company and the public. This is a strategic role requiring proven expertise in media relations, corporate representation, stakeholder engagement, and crisis communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective PR strategies that enhance the company's public image and reputation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, agencies, media houses, and key stakeholders
- Prepare press releases, speeches, reports, and communication materials on behalf of the company
- Represent the company at official meetings, events, and public engagements
- Manage and coordinate media coverage, interviews, and press briefings
- Monitor public opinion and provide strategic advice on improving the company's public perception
- Handle crisis communication and ensure timely, accurate responses to sensitive issues
- Organize corporate events, outreach programs, and community engagement activities
- Maintain an updated database of government contacts, media partners, and external stakeholders
- Support management in drafting correspondence and communication for official purposes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years' proven experience in Public Relations or Corporate Communications
- Strong and verifiable connections with government officials and relevant government bodies
- Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinking and ability to manage multiple priorities
