Public Health School Nurse

About the Role - Our client, a reputable healthcare services company in Ogun State, is seeking a compassionate and proactive Public Health School Nurse to support student health, promote wellness, and ensure a safe learning environment across partner schools. Key Responsibilities: - Provide first aid, basic nursing care, and emergency response for students and staff - Monitor student health, manage minor illnesses, and coordinate referrals when needed - Implement school health programs, screenings, and preventive care initiatives - Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with health regulations - Educate students and staff on hygiene, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle practices - Liaise with parents, school administrators, and healthcare providers Requirements: - Registered Nurse (RN) with valid practicing license - Background or experience in Public Health, Community Health, or School Health is an advantage - Strong communication, empathy, and child-care skills - Ability to work independently and within a school environment.
