Position Overview
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to oversee and manage large-scale construction projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate must be a Registered Civil Engineer with a minimum of 15 years' experience, including extensive hands-on experience managing construction projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end construction projects (planning, execution, monitoring, and closure)
- Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, site engineers, and subcontractors
- Monitor project progress and prepare periodic reports for management
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards
- Manage project risks, resolve issues, and implement mitigation strategies
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment
- Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
- Conduct site inspections and stakeholder meetings
- Manage project financials, including cost control and budget tracking
Requirements
- Registered Civil Engineer (COREN registration required)
- Minimum of 15 years' post-qualification experience
- Proven experience serving as a Project Manager on major construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and regulations
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong financial and budget management capabilities
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
- Strong communication and reporting skills
