## Title: Project Finance Manager

About the Organization

Learning Through Skills Acquisition Initiative (LETSAI) is a dynamic team that is expanding and seeking talented professionals to join their mission.

Project Overview

This project directly targets persons with disabilities, their family members, and other community structures across Borno state, including state and local government ministries, departments and agencies, Civil Society Organizations, Organizations of People with Disabilities (OPDs), women and girls, Community Health Workers, and community members.

The project focuses on strengthening the capacity of OPDs, CSOs, FBOs, government stakeholders, and media platforms using a structured multi-sectorial and Community Based Inclusive Development approach to reinforce awareness of the rights of persons with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

General Accounting

  • Maintain accurate records for all daily transactions in the correct format and location in collaboration with finance, administration, and programme staff
  • Prepare balance sheets and other reports as required
  • Process invoices in support of payments
  • Review and record accounts payable and accounts receivable in line with organizational policies and accounting standards
  • Ensure the financial system is continuously updated with financial data
  • Manage petty cash according to organizational policies
  • Perform additional accounting duties as needed

Banking

  • Execute all banking transactions on time with minimal risk in line with organizational and donor policies
  • Support the Finance Manager and Executive Director in reconciling bank statements in collaboration with other finance staff
  • Work with the programme team to prepare required budgets
  • Ensure petty cash is managed in accordance with organizational policies and practices

Auditing, Financial Management and Reporting

  • Prepare month-end and quarterly financial reports
  • Conduct and manage internal and external audit processes
