## Title: Project Director

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Project Director to support the planning and execution of the Doing Business in Nigeria Conference (DBNC), an annual gathering of business leaders, policymakers, and entrepreneurs exploring the opportunities and challenges of doing business in Nigeria. You will also oversee the DBNC League podcast, which shares practical, experience-driven advice from top business minds in Nigeria.

As the Project Director, you will guide the planning team, engage with speakers, sponsors, and partners, and ensure that both the conference and podcast run smoothly and professionally. This is an excellent opportunity to build real leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall planning and coordination of DBNC and DBNC League projects from start to finish
  • Develop project timelines, assign tasks, and ensure all deadlines are met
  • Lead, guide, and motivate team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
  • Engage with and manage speakers, panelists, and podcast guests by providing schedules, materials, and support
  • Communicate with, build, and maintain relationships with sponsors and partners, coordinating their involvement and visibility during events and podcasts
  • Oversee event logistics, including venues, technical setup, schedules, and participant coordination
  • Support the production of the DBNC League podcast, ensuring recordings run smoothly
  • Review and approve materials, session scripts, and podcast outlines for quality and accuracy
  • Collect feedback from participants, speakers, sponsors, and partners to inform improvements for future events and podcast episodes
  • Prepare post-event reports and documentation summarizing outcomes, lessons learned, and recommendations

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in project management, event coordination, or volunteer leadership
  • Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
