Project Construction Manager Special Development Project (SPD) at Amaiden Energy Nigeria

About the Role

Amaiden Energy Nigeria is seeking an experienced Project Construction Manager to oversee all Special Development Projects (SPD) across Nigeria. This position involves managing, monitoring, and delivering projects from inception to practical completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and world-class quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, audit, and guide construction and delivery teams for all projects, including self-perform projects and EPC contractors with subcontractors, ensuring safe, on-time delivery in accordance with specifications and quality requirements
• Plan, schedule, and oversee construction projects from start to finish across Lagos and Jigwa, Abuja
• Assess and ensure construction staff competence and capability to fulfill their roles
• Lead and manage construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors
• Optimize utilization of resources, labor, and materials while managing procurement
• Develop project objectives and goals, assigning responsibilities to team members
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Monitor project progress and address issues as they arise
• Review and approve project budgets, expenditures, and timelines
• Prepare status reports with updated cost and planning forecasts
• Coordinate with the procurement department to ensure timely delivery of equipment and goods to site
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
• Review and evaluate plans, set performance requirements, and coordinate efforts of all project parties
