## Title: Program Officer (Volunteer)

About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent. The Program Officer will support the design, coordination, and implementation of education, health, and community development programs in target communities.

Reporting Structure

Reports to: Executive Director / Program Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to program planning, budgeting, and coordination
  • Support field monitoring, data collection, and reporting
  • Facilitate community mobilization and stakeholder engagement
  • Draft activity and progress reports, including success stories
  • Assist in proposal writing and development of new initiatives
  • Represent the organization at community and stakeholder forums when required

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Social Sciences, Education, Public Health, or related field
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and report-writing skills
  • Ability to work effectively with community members and partners
  • Fluency in English and Hausa
  • Experience working or volunteering in humanitarian or community-based organizations (desirable)

Additional Skills

  • Kanuri language skills are an added advantage
