About the Position

Federal University Oye-Ekiti is recruiting a Professor in the Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics. This is a senior academic position requiring significant expertise, research output, and leadership experience.

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. Degree or equivalent in Pharmacology & Therapeutics or related area of specialization
Minimum of nine (9) years of teaching experience at university level
Minimum of five (5) postgraduate students supervised
Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies

Research & Publications Requirements

Minimum of seventy-five (75) points in research publications
Minimum of fifteen (15) publications
Minimum of five (5) papers indexed in Scopus
Visible profile on Google Scholar with minimum citation count of thirty (30)
Two (2) favorable external assessments

Academic Leadership & Service

Minimum of five (5) points in academic leadership and/or administrative responsibilities
Minimum of three (3) points in community service
Minimum of forty-five (45) points in job appraisal
