An established company is recruiting for the following position. About the Role - We are seeking a highly reliable, safety-conscious, and professional driver with extensive knowledge of Abuja roads and environs to support company operations. - The role requires an individual with integrity, a strong sense of responsibility, and excellent customer service orientation to transport management, staff, and goods safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Safely drive company vehicles to transport management, staff, visitors, and goods as assigned. - Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off schedules for official duties, meetings, deliveries, and errands. - Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness (interior and exterior) at all times. - Conduct routine checks on vehicles (fuel, oil, water, tires, lights, brakes, etc.) and promptly report any faults or maintenance needs. - Maintain accurate vehicle logs and ensure proper documentation of trips, fuel consumption, and maintenance. - Adhere strictly to all traffic rules, road safety regulations, and company policies. - Assist with loading and unloading of company items when required. - Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all company matters encountered during driving duties. - Provide basic support in logistics operations when not driving. - Ensure vehicle papers (insurance, roadworthiness, etc.) are up to date at all times. Qalifications & Experience - Minimum of OND (Ordinary National Diploma) in any discipline. - Minimum of 7 years of proven driving experience in Abuja and its environs. - Be resident in Abuja, preferably Asokoro, Nyanya, Nasarawa State or nearby areas. - Must hold a valid Nigerian Driver’s License with a clean driving record. - Ability to provide verifiable references from previous employers. - Good knowledge of Abuja Road networks, traffic patterns, and alternate routes. - Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to carry out minor vehicle troubleshooting. - Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Hausa or local dialects is an added advantage). - Good interpersonal skills and professional conduct. - Punctual, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
