Production Supervisor at Biomedical Ltd

The Role

As Production Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate all production activities during your shift, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to established procedures. Your key responsibilities include:

• Oversee and coordinate the production process during assigned shifts
• Ensure daily production targets are met as set by the Production Manager
• Monitor daily activities and performance of production workers
• Prepare daily and monthly production reports
• Maintain updated production documentation and records
• Record raw materials and packaging reports at the end of packaging activities
• Document all waste and packaging material usage
• Verify daily packaging of leaflets and labels are properly stored and secured
• Check availability of raw materials and packing materials, and request replenishment when necessary
• Verify proper printing of batch details on all products
• Monitor staff cleanliness and ensure compliance with hygiene standards
• Ensure daily cleaning and maintenance of all equipment and materials
• Complete all packaging records in the Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR)
• Ensure all staff adhere to personal hygiene standards and wear appropriate protective garments
• Verify that all production activities follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Report daily production activities to the Production Manager
• Complete any additional tasks assigned by the Production Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in a science-related field such as Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Microbiology
• Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing
