Production Supervisor

Position Overview: - The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising production staff, ensuring quality standards, meeting production targets, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise day-to-day production activities in the plastic manufacturing plant. - Assign duties and monitor the performance of production workers and machine operators. - Ensure production targets are met in line with quality and safety standards. - Monitor machine operations, report faults, and coordinate routine maintenance. - Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on the factory floor. - Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications. - Manage raw material usage and minimize waste during production. - Maintain accurate production records and shift reports. - Train new staff and support skill development of existing team members. - Communicate production issues and improvement opportunities to management. Person Specification - OND/HND or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field. - 2–4 years of supervisory experience in a plastic manufacturing or related production environment. - Good knowledge of plastic production processes and machinery. - Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines. - Knowledge of workplace safety standards and quality control procedures.
