About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Shift Supervisor to oversee PVC pipe production operations. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on leadership to production teams, ensuring optimal machine performance, product quality, and adherence to safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all production activities during assigned shifts to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe manufacturing operations
• Plan and monitor daily production targets and extrusion processes
• Ensure strict adherence to quality, safety, and operational standards
• Lead and motivate shift teams to maintain productivity and discipline
• Manage material usage and minimize downtime and waste
• Ensure proper machine operation and coordinate maintenance activities
• Maintain accurate production documentation and reports
• Enforce compliance with company policies and procedures
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure seamless communication across shifts to achieve production efficiency and consistent product quality

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Production, or a related technical field (technical diploma preferred)
• Strong technical understanding of extrusion processes
• Excellent people management and leadership skills
• Ability to maintain productivity and enforce discipline across all shifts

Reports to: Production Manager

Direct Reports: Compounding Supervisor, Extrusion Machine Operator, Grinder/Pulverizer Operator
