## Title: Production Pharmacist
Job Summary
An established company is recruiting a Production Pharmacist to assist in the coordination and supervision of daily pharmaceutical production activities. This role ensures that all operations comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements. The Production Pharmacist will support the production team in achieving efficiency, quality, and compliance targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the supervision of manufacturing processes to ensure products are produced according to approved specifications
- Support the production team in daily planning, line clearance, and batch documentation
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and quality standards across all production operations
- Monitor equipment cleaning, calibration, and maintenance activities
- Participate in in-process quality checks and report deviations promptly
- Maintain accurate batch manufacturing records and ensure timely completion of documentation
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control units to ensure smooth workflow
- Provide technical support to operators and other production staff as required
- Participate in training and development activities to enhance technical and regulatory knowledge
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
- Registered Pharmacist (PharmD license or equivalent)
- 1-2 years post-NYSC experience in a pharmaceutical production environment
- Sound understanding of GMP and production processes
- Good communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
