Production Officer

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Execute daily production plans in line with approved schedules and output targets. - Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs). - Ensure correct use of raw materials and packaging materials to minimize waste. - Record production output, downtime, and variances accurately. - Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, and hygiene standards on the production floor. - Supervise production operators and casual staff during assigned shifts. - Allocate tasks, monitor attendance, and enforce discipline on the production floor. - Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce downtime. - Complete daily production reports, shift handover notes, and material usage records. - Maintain accurate production documentation for audit and traceability purposes. - Enforce health and safety rules and ensure proper use of PPE. - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment at all times. Education: & EXPERIENCE: - HND/BSc in Food Science & Technology or a related discipline. - 2–3 years’ experience in a production or manufacturing role, preferably in food processing or FMCG. - Experience working on factory production lines is an added advantage. Skills: AND KNOWLEDGE: - Good understanding of production processes and factory operations. - Basic knowledge of GMP, food safety, and hygiene standards. - Strong attention to detail and process discipline. - Ability to supervise and coordinate shop-floor staff. - Good communication and reporting skills. - Willingness to work shifts and in a factory environment.
