Production Manager (Fashion House)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join House of Maryjane in Lagos, Nigeria. This role is critical to ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality fashion collections through effective planning, quality control, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production calendars and work-in-progress (WIP) reports to ensure timely collection delivery
• Implement quality assurance protocols, perform inspections, and manage technical, pre-production, and post-production samples
• Manage relationships with fabric suppliers and manufacturers, issue purchase orders, and track raw materials
• Supervise and train production staff, including cutters, sewing machine operators, and finishers
• Optimize manufacturing processes to reduce costs while maintaining budgetary constraints
• Translate designers' sketches into production-ready garments with technical accuracy
• Monitor raw materials and finished goods inventory, and organize packing, labeling, and logistics to ensure proper inventory management

Required Qualifications

• SSCE, OND, HND, or BSc Degree in Fashion or Design
• Previous attendance at a fashion school

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and apparel production techniques
• Proficiency in production management tools and MS Office
• Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
• Good knowledge of sewing and beading techniques
