## Title: Production Manager
About the Role
A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to plan, organize, direct and oversee the day-to-day operations of the production floor.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, direct and oversee day-to-day operations of the production floor
- Increase production and asset capacity while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining quality standards
- Oversee production processes, output, and product quality with timely transfer of products to inventory and sales
- Allocate human and material resources effectively to produce optimal results
- Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions when required
- Collect and analyze data to detect trends, identify areas of waste, and support risk management purposes
- Commit to factory safety procedures
- Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
- Create processes to increase productivity and enhance performance
- Prepare regular operating reports and budgets
- Manage work scheduling and rosters for full functionality and avoid operational gaps
- Analyze production metrics and data to determine improvement areas
Required Education and Experience
- Degree in Food Science, Industrial Chemistry or related field
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in a related production management position

- Bakery production expertise
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Business acumen

- Experience with diverse bakery equipment
- Capacity for large-scale production management
