Production and Logistics Manager

About the Role

PE Lifts Nigeria seeks an experienced and results-driven Production and Logistics Manager to oversee production operations and manage the efficient flow of goods, materials, and logistics processes. The ideal candidate will coordinate production activities, optimize resources, ensure timely delivery, and maintain operational excellence in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities to meet targets and quality standards
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
• Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows as necessary to meet deadlines
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Logistics & Supply Chain Management

• Manage inventory, warehousing, and distribution processes
• Coordinate procurement of raw materials and ensure timely availability for production
• Develop and manage transportation schedules for timely delivery of goods
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to optimize supply chain operations

People & Process Management

• Supervise and train production and logistics staff, fostering teamwork and accountability
• Conduct performance reviews and ensure adherence to company policies
• Maintain accurate records and generate reports on production and logistics performance

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in production and/or logistics management, preferably in manufacturing or related industry
• Strong understanding of supply chain, warehousing, and distribution principles
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/production management software (e.g., ERP systems)
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
