Product Support Sales Representative

Position Overview

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent. You will be responsible for driving revenue by proactively selling parts, service, maintenance contracts, and equipment solutions to existing and new customers within an assigned territory.

Main Responsibilities

• Visit customers in the assigned region (existing and new accounts), actively selling parts, service, and maintenance programs while seeking regular patronage
• Sell and implement product support programmes such as CTS, REMAN, SOS, and related offerings on a regular basis
• Prepare relevant quotations and tenders (accurate and complete to requirements), present to customers, arrange follow-up activities, and ensure conversion to effective sales
• Ensure prompt delivery of parts or services (including backordered items) and corresponding invoices to engender customer satisfaction and early payment
• Prepare and implement weekly call plans and corresponding summary reports
• Prepare and update customers' profile lists
• Stay informed of product and service information from Caterpillar and related suppliers, and ensure adequate dissemination to concerned employees and customers
• Promptly and effectively resolve customer complaints to retain their goodwill and confidence in the product, services, and dealership
• Actively participate in the region's debt collection initiatives on an ongoing basis
• Establish and report on competitive activities and sales opportunities (for parts, units, and service), and implement actions to ensure prompt conversion to Caterpillar products and services
• Implement relevant marketing and promotional programmes as they arise
• Arrange and implement relevant training programmes for Parts office staff and customer representatives
• Ensure prudent financial management and adequate maintenance and security of company assets placed in your care
