## Title: Product Sales Engineer - Turbomachinery
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria as a Product Sales Engineer specializing in Turbomachinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote turbomachinery products, targeting both existing and prospective clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to understand their needs and provide suitable product recommendations
- Conduct visits, surveys, and presentations to identify technical and commercial support needs through recommendations, bids, demonstrations, and collaboration with service centers, OEMs, and internal teams to ensure effective solutions and client satisfaction
- Collaborate with internal teams, including service centers, operations, and sales support services, to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery of products
- Identify and qualify new sales leads and actively pursue opportunities for new installations and projects
- Propose process optimizations and engineering solutions to clients
- Provide post-sales support, including troubleshooting, technical assistance, and product training, to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize customer retention
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies related to turbomachinery, and incorporate this knowledge into sales strategies and customer interactions
- Participate in conferences and networking events to promote company products and establish a strong presence in the turbomachinery market
Travel Requirements
This position requires 60% travel time to customer and client sites (onshore and offshore).
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience
- Strong technical expertise in industrial systems with knowledge of international standards
- Ability to deliver presentations, diagnostics, and lifecycle solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and internet skills
- Skilled in business development through key account management, market analysis, and sales forecasting
