## Title: Product Quality Controller

About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this Product Quality Controller position in Lagos, Nigeria.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Carry out quality assessment measures of all products ready to be shipped and incoming raw materials
  • Inspect printed components and develop detailed reports using measuring instruments and report generating software
  • Follow up with external testing laboratories for scheduling tests and obtaining reports on time
  • Reject incoming raw materials that fail to meet quality expectations and report issues to the concerned division promptly
  • Resolve quality-related issues while adhering to deadlines
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation of the inspection process, including detailed reports and performance records
  • Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met
  • Guide the production team on quality control issues to enhance product quality
  • Monitor customer satisfaction levels
  • Monitor the production phase at various levels
  • Monitor the calibration of all equipment used for manufacturing and their serviceability
  • Provide quality training to the team
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner by complying with the company's Occupational, Health, Safety & Environmental System
  • Support quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instructions, and forms per the Quality Health and Safety Management Systems (QHS)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Interact with Engineering and Material specialists to identify and improve processes
  • Inspect raw materials and printed components to ensure quality
  • Generate inspection reports and procedures
  • Verify drawings
  • Maintain the calibration of all inspection instruments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of measuring instruments and report generating software
