## Title: Product Quality Controller

About the Role

RusselSmith Group seeks a dedicated Product Quality Controller to ensure all products and raw materials meet quality standards before shipment and throughout the production process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality assessments of all products ready for shipment and incoming raw materials
  • Inspect printed components and develop detailed inspection reports using measuring instruments and report-generating software
  • Follow up with external testing laboratories to schedule tests and obtain reports on time
  • Reject incoming raw materials that fail to meet quality expectations and report issues to the relevant division promptly
  • Resolve quality-related issues while adhering to established deadlines
  • Provide quality training to team members
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation of the inspection process, including detailed reports and performance records
  • Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met
  • Guide the production team on quality control issues to enhance product quality
  • Monitor customer satisfaction levels
  • Monitor the production phase at various levels
  • Monitor equipment calibration and serviceability of all manufacturing equipment
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with the company's Occupational, Health, Safety & Environmental System
  • Support quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instructions, and forms per the Quality Health and Safety Management Systems (QHS)
  • Interact with Engineering and Material specialists to identify and improve processes
  • Verify drawings and maintain calibration of all inspection instruments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of measuring instruments and report-generating software
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
