## Title: Product Manager
About the Role
Amy Consulting is seeking a Product Manager to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. You will drive product development from discovery through launch, working closely with founders and cross-functional teams to build and validate products in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive customer discovery through interviews and Jobs to Be Done (JTBD) analysis to validate problem/solution fit
- Define and deliver the MVP, including PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and roadmap planning
- Recruit and run beta programs: enroll ideal customer profile (ICP) users, onboard them, conduct feedback cadences, and translate insights into the product backlog
- Establish analytics infrastructure including event tracking, funnels, cohorts, and tracking plans for activation and retention metrics
- Lead execution with Engineering and Design teams: prioritize features, plan sprints, and maintain a consistent shipping cadence
- Co-own Go-to-Market strategy with founders: develop positioning, validate pricing hypotheses, conduct demo calls, and drive pilot conversions
- Support startup operations: assist during beta phases, refine UX copy, and handle hands-on operational tasks to maintain momentum
Essential Requirements
- 5–8+ years of product management experience (or equivalent experience as a founder/operator)
- Proven track record running betas and pilots, with the ability to convert customer feedback into product decisions
- Strong prioritization and execution skills in ambiguous environments; demonstrated backlog management discipline
- Analytical fluency with funnels, cohorts, and comfort with SQL or business intelligence tools
- Technical aptitude including understanding of APIs, basic architecture, and comfort with tools such as Postman, GitHub, and feature flags
- Excellent storytelling and technical writing skills (especially PRDs); confident in customer conversations and product demonstrations
