Position Overview

We are recruiting a Procurement and Supply Chain Associate to join our team in Lekki.

Location

Lekki/Ajah, Nigeria (proximity to Lekki/Ajah is essential)

Key Responsibilities

Review and interpret clients' supply chain requirements, plan and organize courses of action, and negotiate contracts as required
Purchase materials, goods, services, and business services based on client specifications and requirements
Research suppliers and commodities, and negotiate pricing
Analyze and evaluate supplier bids, tenders, proposals, and quotations; review findings with the Supply Chain Manager
Negotiate prices and delivery conditions with suppliers
Interpret inventory requests, production schedules, purchase requisitions, and orders
Monitor the quality and timeliness of materials and goods supplied
Follow up on the status of purchase orders with vendors to ensure timely delivery
Communicate order status updates with clients

Required Qualifications

First Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Social Sciences, or a related numerical discipline from an accredited institution
Minimum one year of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehousing

Required Skills and Attributes

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel)
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment
Excellent organizational and administrative skills
Exceptional attention to detail
