Procurement / Supply Chain Associate at TAG Energy Nigeria Limited

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our procurement and supply chain team. In this role, you will play a key part in managing supplier relationships, optimizing procurement processes, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials and services to meet our operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret clients' supply chain requirements, plan courses of action, and negotiate contracts as needed
• Purchase materials, goods, and services based on client specifications and requirements
• Research and negotiate with suppliers and commodity providers
• Analyze and evaluate supplier bids, tenders, proposals, and quotations in collaboration with the Supply Chain Manager
• Negotiate pricing and delivery terms
• Interpret inventory requests, production schedules, purchase requisitions, and orders
• Monitor the quality and timeliness of supplied materials and goods
• Track purchase order status with vendors to ensure on-time delivery
• Communicate order status and updates to clients

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Social Sciences, or a related numerical field from an accredited institution
• Minimum one year of professional experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehousing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
