Procurement Supervisor

Position Overview: - The Senior Procurement Supervisor will oversee the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, vendor compliance, quality assurance, and timely availability of inventory. - The role requires strong analytical ability, vendor management expertise, negotiation skills, and deep understanding of pharmaceutical procurement processes. Key Responsibilities: - Support in coordinating all procurement activities from sourcing to delivery. - Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with regulatory and company standards. - Collaborate with the team to negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms to achieve optimal value. - Ensure timely procurement of pharmaceuticals, consumables, and operational supplies. - Monitor market trends, product availability, and pricing fluctuations to inform purchasing decisions. - Collaborate with the Supply Chain, Finance, QA, and Warehouse Teams to optimize inventory and prevent stockouts. - Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation. - Ensure adherence to procurement policies, SOPs, and ethical standards. - Drive process improvements for efficiency, transparency, and cost savings. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy. - 3–6 years post-graduation experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector - Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, market trends, and regulatory requirements. - Proven vendor management and negotiation experience. - Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools. - Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Strong leadership and team coordination abilities. - A recognized supply chain certification is an added advantage.
