Procurement Specialist

Position Overview: - The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing the procurement process for various projects and operations within the company. - The ideal candidate will have technical expertise and experience in procurement, with a strong understanding of the procurement process, from needs assessment to contract management. Key Responsibilities: - Understand business requirements and develop procurement strategies accordingly - Float RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and manage the tendering process - Evaluate vendor responses based on technical and commercial factors - Negotiate contracts and prices with vendors - Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures - Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. Requirements: - Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor`s Degree - Minimum of 5 years experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering industry.
