## Title: Procurement Operations Analyst
About the Role
As a Procurement Operations Analyst, you will manage RFQ requests and source suppliers and vendors for the company. You will liaise with internal departments and suppliers, analyze and compare product samples, and negotiate procurement contracts to ensure optimal value and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage all RFQ requests and supplier sourcing activities
- Negotiate with suppliers (local and international, direct and indirect purchases) to obtain the best value for money and achieve cost savings
- Raise requisitions for all company purchases to appropriate cost centres
- Establish and maintain SLAs with the sales team for request turnaround times
- Make recommendations for alternate procurement solutions and ensure accuracy of needs, amounts, and cost centre allocations
- Ensure all requests are attended to within 48 hours
- Track all requests via CRM system to prevent oversight
- Continuously track and rank suppliers based on pricing, quality, and response speed to guide supplier selection
- Maintain security of the company's supplier database
- Obtain quotes from multiple suppliers and assess quotes with detailed cost breakdowns
- Conduct strategic sourcing and management of new and existing vendors to maximize savings
- Develop and coordinate customer satisfaction goals with the team
- Stay informed on latest industry techniques and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Administration or related field
- Minimum of 3 years' work experience in procurement
- Strong understanding of procurement business processes and pricing margins
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in spreadsheet applications
- Excellent people management and issue resolution abilities
- Focus on order fulfillment and end-to-end procurement management
- Proven customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
