Procurement Manager

Position Overview: - Our client, a fast-growing Energy Solutions Company in Warri, is seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, vendor management, and cost optimization across operations. - This role is critical to ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement that supports business continuity and growth. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with business goals - Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers and contractors to ensure value for money - Oversee purchasing of equipment, materials, and services for energy projects - Ensure compliance with company policies, budgets, and regulatory standards - Monitor market trends, manage risks, and drive cost efficiencies - Prepare procurement reports, forecasts, and documentation. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field - Minimum of 5 years’ relevant procurement experience, preferably in energy, oil & gas, or engineering-related sectors - Professional procurement certifications (e.g., CIPS, CIPSMN or equivalent) are required - Master’s degree in a related field or an engineering background is a strong advantage - Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills - High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commercial awareness.
