Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Strategy Development
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s interior design projects and timelines.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and design integrity.
- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors specializing in interior materials and furnishings.
- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with vendors.
- Source high-quality materials, furniture, fixtures, and finishes that meet the design specifications and project requirements.
- Ensure the selection of sustainable and eco-friendly materials, where applicable.
- Manage the procurement budget for each project, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial goals.
- Monitor expenditures and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
- Oversee inventory levels to avoid shortages or surpluses during interior design project execution.
- Implement efficient storage and distribution systems for materials and products.
- Ensure suppliers meet the company’s quality standards and comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of suppliers and subcontractors.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts with suppliers and vendors.
- Ensure adherence to contractual terms and resolve disputes or breaches effectively.
- Collaborate closely with interior designers, architects, and project managers to align procurement activities with project timelines and design visions.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to prevent project delays.
- Conduct ongoing research to stay updated on market trends, new materials, and innovations in the interior design industry.
- Evaluate and introduce new suppliers and products to enhance project outcomes.
- Identify and mitigate procurement risks, such as delays, quality issues, or price fluctuations.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 4–6 years of procurement experience, with significant experience in oil and gas.
- Strong knowledge of oilfield equipment, drilling materials, and EPC procurement processes. ...
