Procurement Lead

Job Brief - PSL is seeking a Procurement Lead & Officer to oversee procurement activities, manage supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective sourcing. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies - Source, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts - Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services - Manage procurement budgets and expenditures - Maintain strong supplier relationships - Ensure compliance with internal controls and procurement standards - Supervise junior procurement staff Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field with a minimum of 10 years’ procurement or supply chain experience - Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is a plus. - Professional certification (e.g. CIPS) is an added advantage - Strong negotiation and vendor management skills - Knowledge of procurement best practices and controls
