Procurement Expediter

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates. Role Description - This is a full-time, on-site role located in Port Harcourt for a Procurement Expediter at Desicon Engineering Limited. The Procurement Expediter will be responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and expediting the procurement and delivery of materials, goods, and services critical to project timelines. Daily tasks include tracking purchase orders, resolving supplier issues, maintaining accurate records of deliveries, ensuring timely updates to stakeholders, and supporting the procurement team in adhering to project schedules and budgetary limits. Required Qualifications: - Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure timely procurement and delivery. - Proficiency in procurement processes, including tracking, scheduling, and supplier coordination. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with vendors, procurement teams, and other stakeholders. - Detailed-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. - Keen problem-solving skills to address and resolve any delays or procurement issues. - Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems is an advantage. - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred. - Experience in procurement or supply chain functions within the energy or construction industry is a plus.
