Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Procurement Executive to manage the procurement activities of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, equipment, and services, ensuring efficient procurement processes, and maintaining cost-effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery in collaboration with the team lead
• Source quality suppliers and negotiate contracts
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability
• Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors to negotiate favorable terms and ensure compliance with contracts
• Collaborate with other departments to determine procurement needs and timelines
• Conduct market research to identify price trends and analyze cost structures
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and track savings against budgets
• Identify potential supply chain risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
• Stay informed about geopolitical, environmental, and economic factors that could impact procurement

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc./HND in Supply Chain Management or related field
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in procurement
• Minimum of 1 year in a similar position
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification in Supply Chain Management
