About the Role
This position supports project-based sourcing and purchasing, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials, equipment, and services. The role requires strong analytical ability to transform data into meaningful insights that improve cost efficiency and supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project-based procurement cycles and high-value transactions
- Coordinate sourcing and purchasing activities to meet project timelines
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost optimization opportunities
- Negotiate with suppliers and manage supplier performance
- Ensure compliance with EPC workflows and project requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Management, or related field
- Relevant professional certification (PRS, NIM, or equivalent) is highly required
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in similar procurement positions
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the oil and gas or EPC/EPCIC services sector
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of EPC workflows and NIPEX processes, including requirements and regulations
- Comprehensive knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, and supplier management
- Proficiency in data management tools and procurement systems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Proven ability to manage project-based procurement with a results-focused approach
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in the oil and gas services sector, preferably within EPC/EPCIC projects, and will demonstrate strong coordination, negotiation, and supplier management skills with a results-focused approach to procurement.
