Process Improvement Manager (Manufacturing)

About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to drive manufacturing excellence. As a Process Improvement Manager, you will lead technical initiatives across the organization to optimize operations, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead technical process improvement projects (Setup Reduction, Cycle Time Reductions) across manufacturing, meeting assigned timelines and objectives
• Evaluate existing capacity utilization and lead solutions based on short- and long-term needs
• Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving sessions to address issues related to plant OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), safety, and delivery
• Utilize systems and tools to deliver reductions in minor stops and breakdowns
• Develop process analysis and re-engineering strategies to improve efficiency, lower costs, and enhance product quality
• Create training materials for employees to learn about new processes and procedures
• Train and guide resources in process improvement techniques
• Manage and lead process teams to achieve desired results
• Assist in development of new process capabilities
• Perform project management, analytics, and measurement to ensure milestones are met and deliverables achieved

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
• Lean Six Sigma certification
• 7–10 years of experience working in an advisory role with a proven track record
• Demonstrated track record of achieving cost reductions and increased productivity
• Proven ability to perform financial analysis and review and analyze existing cost data
• Strong ability to analyze and solve complex problems
