We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. Position Overview:
  • We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Female Primary Teacher to join our vibrant school community. The successful candidate will teach pupils in our Primary – Years arm, following a well-structured British curriculum.
  • This role is ideal for an experienced educator who is passionate about pupil progress and committed to excellence in teaching and learning. Our school provides comprehensive resources and a supportive environment to help you deliver quality education.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver all lessons using the school’s provided materials
  • Mark all assigned pupil work promptly and professionally
  • Administer assessments according to school guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and engaging classroom environment
  • Provide clear, constructive written feedback in pupils’ books and communicate effectively with parents
  • Promote positive behaviour and uphold the school’s values and standards,
Essential Requirements
  • Must be resident in Ibadan, and live within a reasonable commuting distance of Jericho, Ibadan
  • Minimum academic qualification: B.Ed in Primary Education Studies or a B.Sc./B.A./HND with a PGDE from a reputable institution
  • Minimum of three (3) years post-graduation experience teaching in a structured primary school environment
  • TRCN certification is highly desirable and will be considered an added advantage
  • Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to create a disciplined, respectful, and focused learning environment
  • Proven excellence in teaching core subjects—English, Mathematics, and Science—alongside the ability to effectively deliver a broad range of primary-level subjects, tailored to meet diverse learner needs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email, with confident application in day-to-day teaching and administration
  • Able to adopt and model the school’s handwriting scheme, demonstrating clear, legible, and consistent writing
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Highly organised, with the ability to plan, deliver, and maintain well-structured lessons and create high-quality classroom displays
  • Maintains consistently high expectations for pupil behaviour, academic progress, and overall achievement
  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of assessment methods, learner tracking systems, and providing effective feedback
