Preschool Teacher (EYFS) at Kingston Bridge School

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced preschool teacher to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on early childhood development using internationally recognized teaching methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach all areas of the EYFS using the Montessori approach
• Plan, prepare, and present lessons that cater to the needs of learners across all ability ranges
• Take responsibility for monitoring and supporting the progress of all learners
• Organize the classroom and learning resources, and create displays that encourage a positive learning environment
• Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of learners' development
• Coordinate activities and resources within specific curriculum areas, and support colleagues in lesson delivery
• Provide regular feedback to parents and carers on learners' progress
• Maintain current knowledge of procedures and practices through continuing professional development

Required Qualifications

• HND, PGDE, or Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a preschool teacher in a reputable school

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of EYFS framework and its application
• Proficiency in the Montessori learning approach
• Excellent writing skills
• Very good knowledge of Jolly Phonics
• Ability to effectively use online learning tools
• Digital literacy and proficiency with educational technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English language
