An established company is recruiting for the following position. Position Overview: - Our client is seeking an experienced and performance-driven Portfolio Manager to lead investment strategy, optimize portfolio returns, and ensure full regulatory compliance within Nigeria’s capital market framework. - This role is ideal for a disciplined investment professional with a strong track record in registered and licensed asset management firms, who understands the regulatory sensitivity of fund management operations. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute robust investment strategies across multiple asset classes - Manage discretionary and non-discretionary portfolios in line with client mandates - Conduct deep financial analysis, risk assessment, and asset allocation decisions - Monitor market trends, macroeconomic indicators, and regulatory developments - Ensure strict compliance with SEC regulations and internal governance standards - Prepare portfolio performance reports and present insights to clients and management - Collaborate with compliance, risk, and research teams to maintain operational excellence. Requirements: - 5–8 years’ experience in a registered and licensed asset management firm (Mandatory) - Strong knowledge of Nigerian capital markets, fixed income, equities, and alternative investments - Proven track record of portfolio performance and risk management - Deep understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks governing asset management - Professional certifications (CFA, CIS, or equivalent) strongly preferred - Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
