Porter at Mulligan Hotel

Job Brief

We are looking for a dedicated Porter to serve as the first point of contact and assist our guests. The successful candidate will manage various tasks on a daily basis to ensure excellent customer service and smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Carry and label guests' luggage with tags
• Ensure the building entrance is free of clutter at all times
• Direct guests to the reception area or appropriate office/room
• Run errands for guests and employees
• Fix minor technical issues
• Report damages, call technicians, and monitor repairs
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Follow evacuation rules in case of emergencies

Requirements & Skills

• High School Diploma (preferred)
• 1–3 years of previous work experience as a Porter
• Good physical condition, stamina, and strength (ability to lift heavy equipment and luggage)
• Familiarity with security regulations
• Solid verbal communication skills to interact with cleaning staff, technicians, and customers
• Basic mechanical skills

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience working in quality hotels
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional demeanor and pleasant personality
