About the Role

The Lamb Academy is expanding its dynamic team and seeking talented educators to join our playgroup and nursery programs in Mowe/Shimawa, Ogun.

Key Responsibilities

• Educate children on fundamental concepts including colors, letters, numbers, and shapes
• Encourage social interactions between children and build their self-esteem
• Engage in creative learning methods such as arts and crafts, supervised play, and storytelling
• Plan comprehensive curriculums addressing early childhood development needs
• Establish a sense of order and discipline in the classroom
• Monitor and supervise free time on the playground
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
• Prepare lessons by gathering materials and setting up workstations
• Communicate with parents to understand children's home lives and development
• Write developmental progress reports for parents on each child

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Education with a focus on early childhood development
• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Demonstrated experience working with young children in a classroom setting
• Ability to communicate effectively with young children at their level
• Patient and compassionate attitude with a friendly, energetic disposition
• Strong mediation and nurturing abilities
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop memorable, innovative lessons
• Passion for shaping and inspiring young minds
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
